Hathazari- Sikalbaha 230KV Transmission Line
Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) is a public limited company incorporated in the year of 1996. Their business area is transmission of power all over Bangladesh.
As of March, 2021 PGCB has 861 Circuit km 400kV transmission line, 3,658 Circuit km 230kV transmission line, 8,069.902 Circuit km 132kV transmission line and 104.72 Circuit km other transmission line.
Their vision is “Economic upliftment of the country by reaching electricity to all through reliable transmission”. And mission is “Efficient and effective management of national power grid for reliable and quality transmission of electricity throughout the country”.
Hathazari- Sikalbaha 230KV Transmission Line project is a National Power Transmission Network Development (NPTND) Project under PGCB funded by JICA. Project Name is NPTND Project-Contract No. PGCB/JICA/BD-P-70/P6.
Fujikura Ltd is a global, Tokyo-based electrical equipment manufacturing company, developing and manufacturing power and telecommunication systems products, including devices for optical fibers, such as cutters and splicers.
Fujikura Ltd. won this project from PGCB and Ringtech limited has been awarded total 21 Nos tower location of this project
Scope of this project is as below
1. Right of way clearance
2. Pile foundation works
3. Pile cap foundation
4. Stub leg setting and
5. Tower erection and painting.
Ringtech limited has completed this project in scheduled time and hand overed to customer in time.
