Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) is a public limited company incorporated in the year of 1996. Their business area is transmission of power all over Bangladesh.
This is a World Bank funded project, aim of this project is to enhancement and strengthening of power transmission network in eastern region of Bangladesh. Scope of this project is as below:

• To evacuate the power from the upcoming power plants at Ghorasal.
• Up gradation of 230KV transmission network at North-Eastern region of Dhaka.
• To meet the growing demands of greater Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet areas.

Up gradation of existing 3 nos of 132KV sub-stations at Comilla (South), Modunaghat (Chittagong) and Manikganj.
Siemens India Ltd. has been awarded this project from Power Grid Company of Bangladesh and Ringtech Ltd. has won Erection, Installation, Testing and Commissioning Works Manikganj 230kV GIS Substation from them.
Ringtech Limited started this project January 2021.
