Power Sub Station Infrastructure
A substation is a part of an electrical generation, transmission, and distribution system. Substations transform voltage from high to low, or the reverse, or perform any of several other important functions. Between the generating station and consumer, electric power may flow through several substations at different voltage levels. A substation may include transformers to change voltage levels between high transmission voltages and lower distribution voltages, or at the interconnection of two different transmission voltages.
Substations are important components of the electrical infrastructure required to keep reliable electricity available for customers. Substations consist of high voltage electrical equipment like transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers and associated devices.
Basically, substations are owned by different power generation, transmission and distribution companies. Substation capacity can be as per requirement. We Ringtech Ltd. are experienced in construction of different capacity substation.
We have recently completed following projects:
1. New 33/11 KVA GIS Substation for DESCO Project at Merul Badda.
2. Augmentation and Rehabilitation of 33KV GIS Switchgears at Tongi 230/132/33 KV Grid Sub-Station on Turn-Key basis at Tongi.
3. Manikganj 230kV GIS Bay extension Civil Work: PGCB IDB Bangladesh Project
